Target Audience: This activity is intended for nurses, dietitians, and pharmacists who care for or plan to care for children or adolescents with type 2 diabetes

This continuing nursing education activity was approved by the American Association of Diabetes Educators, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. This program 2015-050-RN is approved for 1.50 contact hours. American Association of Diabetes Educators, (AM001) is a Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Accredited Provider with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). Registered dietitians (RD) and dietetic technicians, registered (DTR) will receive 1.50 continuing professional education units (CPEU) for completion of this program. Continuing Professional Education Provider Accreditation does not constitute endorsement by CDR of a provider, program, or materials. The American Association of Diabetes Educators is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.
